Sheriff for a Day contest announced
Goodhue County Sheriff Marty Kelly has announced the first Goodhue County Sheriff for a Day essay contest.
“It is our hope to hear directly from our youth on the issues impacting our county,” Kelly said in a news release.
To enter, any fourth, fifth, and sixth grader in Goodhue County to write a one-page essay (double-spaced) on one of the following prompts: Ways to Bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community; or, How to promote peace within the community.
