For Shopper carrier, a soaked so-long
Nicholas Hartzell, 12, and his mom, Heidi, brought two umbrellas with them to do Nicholas’ final route delivering the Lake City Shopper Tuesday.
The Shopper, the sister publication of the Lake City Graphic, shifted away from carriers to mail distribution this week following the move of print production for both papers from Wabasha to Red Wing.
Both umbrellas failed as Heidi and Nicholas walked the route of Park Street, then Franklin Street, Washington Street and North Lakeshore Drive.
