Songs of Hope brings their show back to Lake City

When award-winning Songs of Hope makes its next concert visit to Lake City on Wednesday, July 18, at the First Congregational Church, UCC, there will be a lot of history traveling with the global music company.
Songs of Hope first performed in Lake City in 2004 when the project received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to travel to cities along the Mississippi River.  
A number of years later, the Songs of Hope program director Tom Surprenant was looking for local partners to help bring the group to Lake City for another concert.
