St. Mary’s members donate quilts, pillows to Kiwanis toy drive
Members of St. Mary of the Lake Church have donated quilts and pillows to the Kiwanis Club Christmas Toy Project.
The group makes approximately 120 quilts a year to donate. Baptismal quilts and high school graduation quilts are given to our local parish members.
Others receiving quilts include Great River Homes, the Care Center, Hope Coalition, First Choice, Resource Center at St. Francis and a Mission in West St. Paul. The group meets once a month to work on the quilts.
New members are welcomed and do not need to sew.
