State park astronomy event is July 29

On July 29, the public is invited to a sky observation of the young moon—11.7 days after the new moon—from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Frontenac State Park picnic shelter.
“See the planet Saturn, bright stars, double stars, and more by telescope with guidance from the Rochester Astronomy Club,” the park said in a news release. “Join the Rochester Astronomy Club at 8:30 p.m. in the picnic shelter for a presentation about public sky observation.
