Thrift store helps keep senior dining available in Lake City

In a moment of delight last Friday afternoon, a group at Lake City Senior Dining applauded the kitchen help and a donation from the Pass It On Thrift Shop in Lake City.

The donation of $1,000 will ensure the kitchen operations for Senior Dining for 2022 and 2023, according to a news release.

Located in the Pepin Plaza building, the kitchen is owned by SEMCAC (Southeast Minnesota Community Action Coalition) which rents the kitchen to Senior Dining.
