Torch: An only child

One-fifth of children growing up in the U.S. today are raised as an only child, according to census.gov. This is a statistic that has doubled in the last decade, and one that appears to be increasing. More and more kids are growing up without the influence of siblings, a fact that is changing demographics of society.
