Torch: Pressure at state

The process might be exhausting, but the outcome is worth it.

Throughout high school athletics, athletes strive all season to make it to the state tournament.  The crowds are larger, competitors are at their best, and a player’s emotions are at their highest. 

Athletes have to learn how to handle this new pressure and use it as a motivator, so it doesn’t affect their performance negatively.

Getting through the regular season competitions creates some nerves and emotions before one actually reaches the state tournament.
