Trumpeter to join jazz band
Lake City Public Schools music department’s ninth annual Spring Jazz Festival will feature three Lake City jazz bands as well as New York City jazz artist Cindy Bradley on trumpet.
Cindy will do a three day artist residency at the high school April 14-16 working with Lake City music students and the jazz bands in practice and preparation for the Saturday capstone concert.
The April 16 concert is at 7:30 p.m. in the Lincoln High School auditorium and will feature Lincoln jazz 3, jazz 2, jazz 1, and guest Cindy Bradley.
