Venetian boat parade is Saturday night
The Lake City Yacht Club is continuing its participation in Water Ski Days this year by organizing a Venetian boat parade along the lakeshore north of Marina Point at dark on Saturday, June 27.
Gary Borges, a yacht club member and one of the organizers of the parade, says people can expect to see five to 10 sail and power boats all decked out with lights. The boats will gather at about 9:15 p.m. to circle and wait for dark before traveling from Marina Point toward Kelly’s Lakehouse and back, doing some maneuvers along the way.
