Veterans Empowered plans lunch, golf fundraiser over 4th of July weekend

At noon on Saturday, July 4, local nonprofit Veterans Empowered, Inc. is hosting free lunch at Lake City’s Wild Wings Plaza for all veterans and their families from the surrounding area.
Veterans eat free; cost for dependents is only $7 for BBQ lunch, live patriotic music from Nashville, a U.S. Army Bagpipe Parade, and a 50-50 Raffle. All donations and income from these America’s 250th events go to help disabled veterans with PTSD.
