According to the Dept. of Agriculture, we eat nearly 60 tons of food over our lifetime - I suddenly feel enormous! And we eat the darndest things, especially on the meat side. Back in the 40s and 50s, when I was growing up, consuming an animal from nose to tail seemed to be the goal.
