Yesteryears reappear during Corn Shredding Autumn Harvest Days

Corn Shredding Autumn Harvest Days turns 20 this year.

The annual event dedicated to teaching and preserving the area’s agricultural heritage will be Saturday, Sept. 28 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dwain Gerken Farm in rural Lake City.

Each year the festival features a different class or brand of equipment. This year’s event will feature orphans and gas engines.
