Ambulance chief: Service overhaul showing results

Lake City Ambulance Director Sarah Rybarczyk listed the areas the service has improved since an assessment last year identified numerous deficiencies at the service.
Rybarczyk’s comments came at a special workshop meeting of the Lake City City Council on Aug. 28.
She led the service as interim director following the sudden resignation of her predecessor, Gail Reimersma, in February. In June the council offered her the job permanently.
