Anthony Cox to be next school resource officer
Lake City Police Officer Anthony Cox is the new school resource officer at Lake City Public Schools.
He’ll replace the outgoing school resource officer, Officer Aaron Foss.
The Lake City City Council approved the appointment as part of its consent agenda during the June 13 regular meeting.
Lake City Public Schools and the City of Lake City share the cost of a police officer to have an office at Lincoln High School and work at district events and at the high school and Bluff View Elementary School.
