Army Corps. selects firm to move 150,000 tons of dredge material in Wabasha

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $617,000 contract to U.S. Site Work, from Elk River, Minn., Aug. 26, to unload dredged material in Wabasha.

Work is expected to begin within the next month. 

The contractor will move nearly 150,000 cubic yards of dredged material from the Corps of Engineers’ owned Wabasha Gravel Pit via truck to a pit owned by Wabasha Sand and Gravel. Both pits are located near the intersection of U.S. Highway 61 and Bruegger Valley Road.
