Charges filed after child wounded by gunfire
The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office arrested Raymond Tony Duque and Nicole Lynn McGee July 2 with the assistance of the Rochester Police Department, according to a news release.
“These arrests are the result of an incident that happened on June 25, 2024 in Elgin. A loaded shotgun was left unsecured in a motor vehicle and a 6 year old boy was accidently shot while two other children were also in the vehicle. The 6 year old boy remains in the hospital, but his condition is unknown,” the sheriff’s office said.
