City administrator may be picked in December

Twenty-five people have applied to become Lake City’s new city administrator, the City Council was told Oct. 12.
Gary Weiers said some more could trickle in Tuesday, the last day to apply.
Weiers, of David Drown Associates, is handling the search process for the city.
That process will lead to interviews with top candidates Dec. 5 and the possible selection of a new administrator after that.
