City emergency manager reminds public about Snow Emergency rules

With winter coming we remind people that a Snow Emergency is declared in Lake City when the city street crew determines there have been at least four inches of snow accumulation.

It remains in effect until the streets are plowed curb to curb. Fines for being parked on city streets during an Emergency are a hefty $150 per vehicle.

Notification of Snow Emergencies is done by CodeRED using texting and email notifications.
