City prelimary levy increase set at 9.9%

On Sept. 11, the Lake City City Council has set a preliminary property tax levy for 2024 of $4,596,601, an increase of about 9.9% over 2023.
They also approved proposed general fund revenue and expense budget with proposed revenues equalling proposed expenditures at $7,535,230.
