City's struggle with board roles goes on

The marathon debate over the role of city boards and commissions took another lap Monday night.
The City Council met in special joint meeting with the Charter Commission to get approval of a new ordinance that sought to clear the matter up.
But after an hour and a half of discussion Monday night, new City Administrator Mark Sievert looked at City Atty. Sarah Sonsalla and said, “It looks like we have more work to do.”
