Coalition announces poverty workshop

HOPE Coalition in Red Wing is sponsoring a workshop on poverty, featuring Jodi Pfarr and the work of Ruby Payne, on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at the Minnesota State College SE, Red Wing Campus at 308 Pioneer Rd., Room 314, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Workshop attendees will learn the dynamics of poverty from individual to systemic; poverty research and theory of change; The Hidden Rules of class, resources, family and language; and concrete tools to address poverty.
