Conflicted but unanimous board approves Cornerstone Ridge plat request

Wabasha County Commissioners on June 3 approved the preliminary plat request by Brent Beck for “Cornerstone Ridge,” a housing subdivision in Mazeppa Township.

Beck, representing Cornerstone Real Estate, submitted a preliminary plat application on Feb. 20. Parcels total about 109 acres in the Agricultural/Urban Fringe District.

The County Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on March 24 and voted 5-0 in recommending that the proposed preliminary plat of Cornerstone Ridge be approved.
