Correction: Shooting leaves one injured, another in custody
One person was hospitalized and another was taken into custody following a shooting near North Lakeshore Drive and Vine Street on Wednesday, Dec. 10, according to police.
Lake City Police Capt. Bill Weist said the gunshot victim was transported to the hospital. The victim's condition is unknown. One person is in custody.
Weist said the shooting occured outside and the victim was found in an apartment adjacent to the Subway restaurant.
Later that afternoon, several police vehicles remained at the scene. One blocked the entrance of the parking lot of the strip mall.
