Council approval paves the way for development along North 10th Street

A replatting approved by the Lake City City Council on April 11 could herald some development on a 7.8 acre vacant area adjoining North 10th Street.

The new plat approved by the council converts what had been 24 townhome lots into five lots zoned light industrial.

Grisim Enterprises owns the properties and requested the replatting.

According to the council agenda packet, proposed flexible storage space with individual condo units could occupy three of the lots. Plans call for up to seven building and up to 66 units.
