Council OKs planning process for former public safety building

The Lake City City Council on Aug. 9 approved a three-step action plan aimed at developing a long-term plan for the city’s former public safety building across High Street from the fire hall.

City ambulance, police, and emergency management departments left the building in July of 2017 for the new public safety building on North 10th Street.
