Council orders public safety building feasibility study

Building options explored

The City Council will have information early next year on how to proceed with improving inadequate public safety facilities for the city.

An architectural firm, Widseth Smith Nolting, and Reliable Contractors will present a feasibility report and lay out several options.

The study will include an analysis of the current police and ambulance facilities including a review the current structural systems, location of load bearing walls, accessibility compliance and code deficiencies.
