Council reviews budget at special meeting

The Lake City City Council reviewed budget numbers incorporating new information on insurance, capital, and other expenditures at a special meeting on Oct. 27.
By consensus the council directed staff to plan for a final levy approval in December at the same level as the preliminary levy in September.
Councilmembers also talked about a pay-period issue and then went into closed session for labor negotiation-related discussion.
