County commissioners hear health insurance report, appeals court update

Wabasha County Commissioners heard several presentations during their Oct. 21 Board meeting in Wabasha.

Leota Lind, CEO of South Country Health Alliance, a health insurance agency based in Medford, gave a fall 2025 report, with an update on strategic priorities.

The priorities include:

• Working collaboratively with the Department of Human Services to solidify the role of County Based Purchasing (CBP) in delivery of Minnesota Health Care Programs.
