County eyes Lake City facility

Wabasha County is negotiating to purchase a facility to expand its Lake City Highway shop.
At its Sept. 15, meeting the County Board voted 4-1 to pursue purchase of the Lake City Recycling and Disposal garage at 105 N. Eighth Street.
After meeting in closed session to discuss the property, commissioners voted 4-1 to negotiate a purchase. Commissioner Brian Goihl voted against the idea.
