County gives city money for new ambulance

Lake City will get a new ambulance thanks to a $175,000 grant of CARES Act funds from Wabasha County.

The City Council voted unanimously to accept the money at its Nov. 9 meeting.

City Administrator Rob Keehn said the money will pay for most of a new ambulance, and the city should be able to take delivery on the new truck by the end of the month.
