Donation will restore forest to 155 acres along Zumbro River

Wabasha County Commissioners on Aug. 5 approved a request by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to accept a donation of about 155 acres of land along the Zumbro River from the Trust for Public Land (TPL) and return it to forest land.

The site in Glasgow Township, northwest of Kellogg, adjoins the southern border of the Kruger Recreation Area and would connect it to the river.
