Duck hunters rescued after boat capsized

On Nov. 26, at 6:07 a.m., the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of three duck hunters in the Mississippi River and needing help, according to a news release. The duck hunter’s boat had capsized near the Weaver Landing.

The Sheriff’s Office, Wabasha Fire Department, Wabasha Ambulance, Kellogg Fire Department, Lake City Ambulance, and Minnesota Department of Natural Resources responded to the call.
