Dwelle appointed to school board

The Lake City School Board voted unanimously to appoint Patrick Dwelle to the vacant school board seat at its Monday, Sept. 20, meeting.
Unless the appointment is challenged, Dwelle will join the board 30 days from the appointment and serve until someone is elected to fill the seat in the November 2022 general election.
The vacancy resulted from Jack Rol’s resignation in August.
State law gave the board two options: hold an election or appoint someone to the seat.
