EDA in negotiations on former Conoco property

The Lake City Economic Development Authority (EDA) is in negotiations with a buyer interested into the EDA’s property at 303 S. Lakeshore Drive, according to EDA Director Cailin Richard.

The EDA acquired the property at the corner of Lakeshore Drive and Marion Street several years ago from Kwik Trip.

A real estate subcommittee of the EDA board met March 3 to discuss purchase agreement revisions sent by the potential buyer and make amendments themselves, according to Richard.
