Fisherman found after search

An injured fisherman was found after an extensive search by the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, according to a news release.

“On June 17, 2025, at approximately 12:53 a.m., the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) responded to an attempt to locate call for a fisherman at Frontenac State Park,” according to the report. “He had not been heard from in over an hour and there was cause to believe he may have been injured in a fall from a bluff. Attempts to locate the fisherman through his phone were unsuccessful.
