Goihl to serve as Wabasha County Board chair in 2022
Following the county tradition for the first meeting of the new year, the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners elected a chairman and a vice chairman for 2022 as the first order of business.
At the first meeting of the new year on Jan. 4, the board elected Brian Goihl to serve as chairperson and Don Springer to be the vice chairperson. There were no other nominations for these positions and the vote was unanimous.
All commissioners were present, along with County Attorney Karrie Kelly and County Administrator Michael Plante.
