Goodhue County Board rethinks plans for Lake Byllesby Park
Public Works Director Greg Isakson told the county board at the Oct. 20 meeting that he wanted to talk about the possibility of terminating the county’s proposed public/private partnership with Cannon Falls Canoe and Bike Rental, which leased land located on county owned property adjacent to Lake Byllesby Park.
He explained that in 2013, the county had sent out requests for proposals for some type of park-related activity for that property. In January 2014 the board received two replies and accepted Cannon Falls Canoe and Bike’s proposal.
