Goodhue County levy drops slightly

On Dec. 20, Goodhue County set its 2017 levy at $30,968,619, which represents a 0.39 percent levy tax rate reduction.
With direction from the board, the levy was lowered from the preliminary budget of $31,103,000, which was the same as in 2016.
County Administrator Scott Arneson thanked the board and staff for all the work they put into the 2017 budget and levy.
