Groups to work out strategies

At the urging of the city planning department, the Chamber of Commerce will hold a strategic planning session Aug. 11 to look at its role in downtown development.
The chamber and other stakeholders are being encouraged to conduct some internal planning in advance of a “big tent” planning meeting to be held by the Planning Commission in September.
