Wabasha County Social Services employee Judy Siebenaler’s last day with the county is tomorrow (Friday). She’s retiring after 29 years, the last six of which she has spent overseeing the county’s growing Youth Link mentorship program.
Youth Link pairs children in the county ages eight to 18 with adult mentors who commit to spending at least one hour a week with the child for an entire year, though many mentor-mentee relationships span years and almost all mentors spend more than just the required hour with the child, according to Siebenaler.
