Happy 150th birthday Lake City

An Incorporation Day event took place Saturday, Feb. 26 to mark the city’s 150th anniversary.

The event was mostly at Lincoln High School but it reverberated throughout town thanks to the bells that rang out at churches and elsewhere to mark the occasion.

Don Schwartz kicked off the festivities by ringing the bell at City Hall 150 times, which he guessed was the most times its ever been rung at one time.
