History storytime to be offered in Red Wing
On Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 10:30 a.m. people can join the Goodhue County Historical Society and ArtReach at the Red Wing Public Library for a history story time, a read aloud of “Balloons Over Broadway: The True Story of the Puppeteer of Macy’s Parade,” by Melissa Sweet, followed by a discussion focused on the history of Red Wing’s Holiday Stroll.
Families are encouraged to bring in photographs, objects, and stories related to Holiday Stroll to share during the history discussion. The program will end with a puppet art project.
