Hospice 'not a dead deal'

Wabasha County commissioners dealt a setback to a proposed hospice facility in Lake City Nov. 21 when they refused to consider a tax abatement for the project, but the CEO of the company that would operate the facility said it was not a death blow.
“I would say this is definitely not a dead deal and we are still very hopeful,” said Scott LeFavre, CEO of Interim Healthcare.
