Hwy. 61 financing meeting is April 3

Aside from three speakers who addressed the City Council during the public forum, discussion about the fate of the four-lane segment of Highway 61 in Lake City was minimal during the council’s regular meeting March 13.
The council did, however, schedule a workshop meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 3, to look at the financial impact of their two options.
The meeting will be in the council chambers and it will be televised.
