Incumbents seek new terms on Lake City City Council
City Council Members Mark Spence and Mary Lou Waltman have filed to seek re-election this year.
Council Member Andru Peters filed for re-election last week.
The filing period remains open through the end of the business day Tuesday, May 31.
People seeking to run for mayor and council member can file at City Hall.
Thus far one person has filed for mayor and five have filed for council.
Mark Nichols has filed to run for mayor.
The two newcomers to file for council on the first day were Russell Malcomson and Mary Jane Rasmussen.
