When members of the Twin Cities Jet Pilots came looking for a place to play several years ago, Hok-Si-La Park Manager Joanne Klees was skeptical.
“You guys are not a good fit for us,” she told them.
The sometimes rowdy, always fun-loving, youthful and acrobatic skiers pleaded. They had had a couple of annual outings that lacked facilities. Hok-Si-La Park, known more for its quiet family style camping, had everything they wanted and more.
JoAnne decided to give it a try, if they came late in the summer and lived by the rules.
