Lake City man accused of exploitation, neglect
A Lake City man is charged with five felonies and one gross misdemeanor for the alleged financial exploitation and criminal neglect of his elderly mother, also of Lake City.
Michael Dean Ladoucer, 55, faces two counts of financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult, one count of financial transaction card fraud, one count of theft in excess of $5,000, and one count of swindle in excess of $35,000.
All the counts are felonies with a maximum prison sentence of 20 years, a $100,000 fine, or both.
