Lake City man charged after fatal crash in Wabasha

A Lake City man is charged with two felonies following a fatal crash in Wabasha.
Bernard Wayne Quist, 84, of Lake City is charged with Criminal Vehicular Homicide and Failure to Stop for Collision Involving another person, both felonies.
According to police, Quist was driving a vehicle when it hit an individual on a skateboard at around 10 p.m. on Aug. 31. That person was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
