Local, area candidates get their say

Sixteen candidates for seven local, state and federal office in the Nov. 8 election had a chance to address local voters Tuesday night.

The candidates spoke at a forum at the council chambers at the Lake City City Hall. The event was conducted by Lake City Woman’s Club and the Chamber of Commerce.

Also, City Administrator Mark Sievert gave voters a rundown of another ballot question Lake City voters will be asked.

The ballot question asks whether the dead-end block of Washington Street should be closed.
